National Institute of Restorative Exercise
Upon the initial release of NirePro.org, CreativeDetailer developed an intro-video for their new site to help brand and fortify the NIRE image as a more established organization. The video was streamed at 720x480, a standard resolution for NTSC, giving it a huge visual presence. The sequence itself contained many visual elements including various fitness related action clips. At the center of it all is a Da Vinci human-form graphic.
Notice that the Da Vinci graphic is also animated, having the figures arms and legs flex in and out, up and down. This required some detailed retouch work so that the original textures of the rendered remained consistent and seamless. |

Belacan Grill Restaurant (Tustin, Redondo Beach)
CreativeDetailer developed an effective means to convey the right marketing message for Belacan Grill. Though the web site itself offers a super-realistic look into the actual restaurant, there was an opportunity to showcase the inner workings including the chef, bar and the dining atmosphere all within an introductory video that shows these elements in motion and as they occur. This gives the audience a back-stage pass and a virtual tour all in one. It's no wonder that so many requests for large-scale reservations are taking place through there web site. What people are getting is real and as tangible as it gets. With no surprises, there are no let-downs and so site visitors are made more comfortable to make quick dining or event decisions based on immediate perception, which is exceptional considering the best restaurant marketing is still word-of-mouth.

CreativeFlix Teaser
CreativeFlix Productions is a collaboration of pros based in Southern California that produces videos, independent movies and fun flix for just about every occasion. This intro video contains a sequence of images that emphasize several artistic visual elements such as lighting, contrast, depth-of-field, motion and timing. The majority of it is made up of still images in a video time-line include the image of the the pool table balls. Though it looks like a close up focus adjustment, it is actually 3 separate images each having it;s own altered blur effect using Adobe Photoshop. The car chase segment is a brief clip from Incognito, a short film showcased during the wedding reception of the client who played and became bride and groom in the story. Among the other scenes that includes a hotel room brawl, automatic gunfire, secret hide-outs and bad guys, we used several small cameras that were light and small enough to fit under a car without getting crushed and mounted to the sides of the car-body via Stickypods (surface camera mounts). The end result was awesome considering our low budget and the novice cast. |

En Pointe Technologies, 2009 National Sales Meeting - Rally Intro Video
CreativeDetailer was commissioned to produce an upbeat video intro to help motivate and inspire the sales force of En Pointe Technologies, who gathered formerly in a large banquet hall in Long Beach, CA. With a full, three day agenda involving technology manufacturers, software publishers and En Pointe executives, they needed something to help kick off the event, summarize the array of technology partners and provide a snapshot of some of the top clients all in one presentation. Audience members quickly recognized their own photos taken from past sales events and became glued to the presentation. The music track was created using a variety of popular dance and and hip-hop tracks, edited and mixed together so that the music and tempo remained continuous. The En Pointe logo was used to carry the video using the squares in the logo as visual screens and musical playback notes. The response was very positive and left a lasting impression with the sales force. |

Steve Kroesen - Memorial Video Montage
Steve Kroesen 34, was a highly-regarded police officer of the Torrance Police Department in Southern California. This is a video montage set to his favorite music that contains photographs from childhood to current day including all his friends and family. Steve lost his battle to Cancer in August 2009 and was diagnosed in 2007. His passing remarkably took place within 2 days of his father's who had lung cancer. He has been missed dearly by friends and family. This video was presented at the Covenant Church in Palos Verdes, CA following a large police precession.
Looking back, this was one of my most memorable, memorial video montage's that I created, which often results in pulling all-nighters simply because of the nature of an unplanned timeframe. It becomes my personal contribution to the family and the feedback from friends and others continues to remind me that I have touched many lives and allowed a legacy of a hero to live on.

APAOG Overview and Staff Introduction
Without a predefined script, CreativeDetailer was able to quickly direct a shoot and develop a comprehensive presentation for APAOG leveraging their clinical team to convey the message and key interactions of Sylvia S. Chen, PA-C, MMS as lead and voice talent. APAOG is the Association of Physician Assistants in Obstetrics & Gynecology with a large membership-base across the US. As a Board Member and Past President, Sylvia Chen has showcased this presentation in large forums to help educate new and considering association members as to the function and goals of APAOG. It carries significant weight and credibility because the message is not being given by actors.
This was one of my first projects shot on the Panasonic DVX-100, an all-around great broadcast-quality camera that is very effective in getting in and out of a shoot quickly and with great results. Many reality shows and news teams still use this camera for that reason and because of its versatility and ability to shoot in 24 or 30 progressive frames per second. |
